The abstractly drawn portraits reflect deeply felt emotions such as sadness, despair and hopelessness - feelings that are often repressed, both personally and socially. By consciously coming into contact with these feelings, we open up the possibility of achieving a genuine, deep connection - both to others and to ourselves.
